Vans Warped Tour 2009 heads to Gorge
The 2009 Vans Warped Tour, featuring Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, NOFX, The Devil Wears Prada and many other bands, will visit The Gorge Amphitheatre Aug. 15.
The tour opens June 26 in Pomona, Calif., and concludes Aug. 23 in Carson, Calif.
The long-running, touring rock festival, which blends up-and-coming bands with more established acts, has been going strong since 1995. Vans Warped Tour is one of the great survivors of the touring festival phenom of the ’90s.
The new Vans Warped Tour Web site at www.warpedtour.com launches April 1, offering Internet pre-sale tickets.
For those lucky enough to attend, the tour’s kickoff party is April 2 at the Key Club in West Hollywood, with sets by The Adolescents, TSOL, Sing It Loud, TV/TV and TAT.
