Pearl Jam’s Ten Club has announced its third annual Ten Club Poster Convention Dec. 2 at Showbox at the Market, with free admission for all ages.
Early admission is available to Ten Club members at 1 p.m. General admission begins at 1:30 p.m. The event closes at 6 p.m.
This year’s event features the debut of the Pearl Jam Pop Up Shop, stocked with rare posters and merchandise. These items haven’t been previously available other than through the Ten Club store. Among the rare items are vinyl LP box sets from the band’s acoustic show at Benaroya Hall.
Artists from around the country will be on hand to sell and sign their work and meet fans. All artists attending the event have created posters for Pearl Jam shows. They include such artists as Ames Bros., Frank Kozik and Chuck Sperry. Munk One, Jeff Soto and Maxx242 will create a live painting during the event that will be available for purchased.
Proceeds from the sale of artist posters will go to charity.
