The B-52s kick off ZooTunes lineup

The 26th season of the ZooTunes concert series opens with The B-52s June 17 at the north meadow at the Woodland Park Zoo.

The series continues with Mavis Staples and Allen Toussaint June 24, Three Girls and Their Buddy (Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin and Buddy Miller) July 1-2, Ladysmith Black Mambazo July 15, Los Lobos July 19, Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt July 22, Indigo Girls July 26 and Jewel July 30.

Joan Baez performs Aug. 13, followed by Nanci Griffith Aug. 16, Susan Tedeschi and J.J. Grey and Mofro Aug. 19, and Amos Lee Aug. 26.

Title sponsor of the series is BECU. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. May 4 at Metropolitan Markets.
