Seattle rock luminaries help raise $70K in salute to Lakewood police officers
Seattle rock band Queensryche, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and Duff McKagan’s Loaded were the musical guests for “KISW Salutes the Shield,” a benefit for the Lakewood Police Independent Guild last Saturday (Dec. 19) at the Snoqualmie Casino.

EMP honors a music-industry legend: Steve Cropper
Steve Cropper, the man who co-founded Booker T. & the MGs and helped pen the classic “In the Midnight Hour” will be the recipient of a 2009 Founders Award from the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum.
