Dallas-based alt-country band The Old 97’s played last Wednesday (June 30) at Showbox at the Market.
Along with Uncle Tupelo, The Jayhawks, Whiskeytown and other bands, The Old 97’s are pioneers of the alternative country movement of the 1990s. The group formed in 1993.
