‘Twilight’ fans gather for a weekend convention in Seattle
Don’t be surprised to see vampires with pointed teeth roaming the streets of downtown Seattle this weekend.
Vampires and all their fans will descend on the city — specifically, the Westin Hotel — for a convention Friday through Sunday (Jan. 15-17).

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT: Former P-I photographer Robin Layton
Shortly after she was hired by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer in the mid-1990s, photographer Robin Layton shot one of the more memorable photos in local sports history: the famous image of a gleeful Ken Griffey Jr. at the bottom of a body pile of fellow Mariners after the team won the 1995 AL West title.
