Seattle City of Music Awards makes its debut
In light of Seattle’s spotty history with music-awards shows, it’s impossible to predict how long the Seattle City of Music Awards will last.

Remembering the Beatles
Beatlemania consumed Seattle when the Fab Four played its first concert in 1964.
The Edgewater Hotel, apparently the only Seattle hotel to accept them as guests, will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Beatles’ stay at the hotel and the Fab Four’s first Seattle concert with a series of events Aug. 21.
