AUSTIN, Texas — The eighth annual Austin City Limits Festival came to a muddy, grungy close Sunday night with a powerful concert finale by Pearl Jam.
The Seattle group led by singer-guitarist Eddie Vedder had the audience entirely to itself Sunday night, with no other stages competing for fans’ attention.

Austin City Limits Festival: As wet and wild as Bumbershoot
AUSTIN, Texas — After a gloriously sunny and warm first day on Friday, the Austin City Limits Festival settled into a wet, Seattle groove Saturday with a steady drizzle much of the day.

CONCERT REVIEW: Diana Krall at Chateau Ste. Michelle
The title of Diana’s Krall’s current album is “Quiet Nights,” a phrase that also describes her two-night stand at Chateau Ste. Michelle.
The second show Sunday night was a low-key but very classy affair featuring the jazz singer and pianist and her talented band — drummer Jeff Hamilton, bassist Robert Hurst and guitarist Anthony Wilson — [...]
