Seattle’s Alice in Chains plans to shoot KeyArena show in 3D
Multi-platinum rock band Alice in Chains has announced that this Friday’s, Oct. 9, hometown show at Seattle’s Key Arena will be filmed in 3D for an upcoming DVD by HDlogix, a media and entertainment company specializing in 3D.

The 2010 Layne Staley Tribute and Benefit Concert features reunited Seattle grunge band My Sister’s Machine, as well as Shawn Smith (with All Hail the Crown), Villains of Yesterday and Gunn & the Damage Done, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 21) at Showbox at the Market.

Alice in Chains announces a fall mega tour with a date at KeyArena
The Alice in Chains juggernaut just keeps rolling along: the Seattle rock band has announced a fall mega-tour.
The reunited Seattle rock band, with William DuVall as vocalist, will be joined by Deftones and Mastodon for “BlackDiamondSkye,” a tour opening Sept. 16 in Chicago and playing KeyArena Oct. 8.
