One of the flashiest pop shows of the spring hits Everett’s Comcast Arena Tuesday night.

A concert by Il Divo is like an imaginary date with four Italian lovers — without dinner, drinks and intimate contact.

Billed as “An Evening With Il Divo,” the operatic-pop concert offers an evening of soaring pop songs and sumptuous visuals aimed at a mostly female audience.

For its current tour, the male vocal group featuring David Miller, Carlos Marín, Urs Buhler and Sébastien Izambard worked with Giorgio Armani on wardrobe and creative director William Baker, known for designing shows for such acts as Britney Spears, Kylie Monogue, Jamiroquai and even Garbage.

The tour, which began May 8, includes songs from the quartet’s five albums, as well as several new songs. The stylish, high-tech show features an elaborate stage and digital light show.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $58.70, $88.70 and $128.70 Comcast Arena box office at 2000 Hewitt Ave., www.comcastarenaeverett.com or by phone at 866-332-8499.
