Seattle symphony musicians have reached an agreement

Seattlepi.com reports that the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and its musicians’ union reached an agreement Wednesday (Jan. 27) on a new contract that reduces salaries by five percent through the end of the current season.

Replica of Cobain’s guitar graces Seattle’s new Hard Rock Cafe

Seattle’s new Hard Rock Cafe at 116 Pike St. will sport this replica of a Fender Mustang guitar, which was modeled after the axe Kurt Cobain played in the video for “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
