Soundgarden reunion at Crocodile Cafe

I was at SXSW in Austin, Texas, so I missed the Soundgarden reunion last weekend at the newly opened Crocodile Cafe. Tad Doyle of Tad stood in for Chris Cornell. Here’s a Travis Hay blog with streaming video from the show at Seattlepi.com:

Vans Warped Tour 2009 heads to Gorge

The 2009 Vans Warped Tour, featuring Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, NOFX, The Devil Wears Prada and many other bands, will visit The Gorge Amphitheatre Aug. 15.
The tour opens June 26 in Pomona, Calif., and concludes Aug. 23 in Carson, Calif.

SOUTH BY SEATTLE TRIP

There was no shortage of good bands and barbecue at the 2009 SXSW music conference and festival in Austin, Texas, which wrapped up March 22 with a Seattle music showcase featuring Ra Scion, Blue Scholars, Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band and others.
